Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
Region 9 facilitates the update of the Southwest Colorado regional comprehensive economic development strategy (CEDS) every five years and the most current 2021 edition is available by county here. Resiliency is a key component of each community’s priority projects and goals for the 2021 version; playbook for engaging in a collaborative, region-wide transformation of the economy in order to raise productivity, create wealth, and increase prosperity for residents. A CEDS is the result of a “regionally-owned” planning process designed to guide the economic prosperity and resiliency of a region.
